Two entrepreneurs meeting prior to an event in Austin, Texas in March during this year’s South By Southwest festival leads to a recognition that they have similar missions and that they can serve the music community by working together. The result of them working together is The Urban Eclectic Showcases Tour produced by TuneCity.

The Urban Eclectic Showcases Tour will be a series of Festival style showcases celebrating music from an Urban perspective. Covering a wide range of genres from R&B, Soul, Funk, Afrobeat, Rock, Reggae, Hip Hop, Soca, and Calypso, the tour will feature independent and emerging artists exclusively.

The Urban Eclectic Showcases Tour will take place this fall in cities that have a strong independent music scene, Harlem, NY; Philadelphia, PA, Washington, DC; Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX and New Orleans, LA.  The tour will showcase talented independent artists from throughout the U.S. with a local “headliner” from each city or region of the tour. Each stop of the tour will be broadcast live on Urban Eclectic Internet Radio Station, RhythmAndSoulRadio.com and live streamed on Uohnit.com.
